Trimithi is the name of a small village which is also known as Edremit in the Turkish language. This village is located in Cyprus. This village is located at 6 km from the famous city of Kyrenia. Kyrenia is the city which is situated on the northern coast of Cyprus. It is famous for the historical harbor and the castle which is situated in the middle of this particular city. This city is De facto under the control of northern Cyprus along with the city of Trimithi.
De facto refers to the facts and practices which are applicable and exist in real life. But these practices are not officially recognized by the law and government of this particular state. This practice refers to the acts which occur in real life in contrast to the acts which should be done under the law and constitution of the particular country. It is known and de jury. This region had a population of about 1,268 according to the older census. However, with the passage of time, this population might have increased. Yet this village cannot be classified as a city due to the smaller size and area covered by this village.
Moving further toward Karmi, which is also located on the western coast of Kyrenia and is under the unofficial control of Northern Cyprus since the year 1974 when the Turkish troops gained control of this particular area. This area was famous for the outpost and the stand they took against the Turkish troops during the war of 1974. This is a rather smaller area with a total population of about 55 only in the year 2011. This might have increased since then but the chances being that these numbers have not crossed 1000 in the present days.
Going to Karmi one will pass through the village of Edremit which is basically famous for the basketry specialist of the area, this individual creates the most beautiful and mesmerizing baskets of the north. Once entering the village moving about 2 kilometers one will see the basketry specialist individual told about. This person if to be reached can be found across the central crush of the area. Jashan has a very unique way of greeting in the sense that this is an Indian based restaurant hence the decoration and the food here will be Indian based. Indian based decoration refers to the artifacts which represent the time period of Mughals or the elders of that time. The decoration is quite bright and lively with a number of swords and shields visible on the walls. These are the representation of a long-lasting history of wars in the subcontinent. The most annoying thing about this restaurant is the greeting procedure of the individuals standing at the main door.

These top-notch services also require an extra amount of money, hence the restaurant is a bit expensive as compared to other restaurants in the area.
The restaurant serves an individual in an average amount of about 15. This is much higher as compared to the other restaurants serving in the area in a sum total of about 5 to 8. Still despite the higher rates this restaurant is continuously filled with the customers due to the top-notch services. And the spicy continental food being served there. Mostly the dishes are chicken-based served with meze or rice. They are usually spicy than the normal dishes being served in the region. The restaurant usually has an offseason special drinks which are served to the tourists in the total bill. This restaurant provides its services 7 days a week except on Monday on which it is usually closed for supper. In winter this restaurant requires booking for lunch due to a large number of individuals coming here for lunch.
The church of this village also provides studio to the experienced artists of the area. This church is named as the church of Panayia and is situated outside the village just below the village. This church provides the individuals with the studios as the Levantine College of Arts. It holds course here throughout the year for the students of Arts. And also provides space to the experienced artists in order for them to complete their masterpieces. This college provides its students with a vacation of about 1-8 weeks along with the collaboration of vacations with CTA holidays.
